Second John 1. V. 5, 6 extremely simple but it's still a struggle. Love one another... Drop the pride. Walk after his commandments. "Walk in it"- just be a doer of Gods simple commands rather than making others that u will not follow 2. V. 11 we should in no way promote rulers of darkness. We are to show Gods love but not to help them in their endeavors. 3. V. 12 again John wanted the believers to be complete in their joy. We need to seek God to the point that he is enough and he makes our joy full
1. v. 7 we need to careful about who we believe and let influence us 2. v 6 once again...our love for God is shown by our actions. If we truly love God, it should be seen all throughout our life. 3. v 5 One way to live out our love for God is to love others. We should let our life be a reflection of God’s love and live to serve God and others. Each day awaits us with opportunities to love those around us.
If salvation by grace was the main theme in Romans, then the main thing in 1st and 2nd John is LOVE. Always loving each other, drawing from the love we have received from Christ.
V10: Support for not embracing and saying God bless you to those who do not truly serve him, but are deceived and deceiving.
