Today's passage: Philippians 4

    1. V. 6 be careful for nothing. We shouldn't act like we are in control of situations and circumstances. Only God can control, so why should we fret. Instead, spend the energy you would worry on praying to and thanking God.
    2. V. 7 the peace of God passeth all understanding. So true... Sadly most of us have not truly experienced the peace of God. We struggle to make it sound bigger and better than it really is rather than being in awe of it.
    3. V. 8 how we think is the foundation in the direction of our life. Let's allow God to control our thinking. Let's think on those things in this verse....true, honest, just, pure

  2. 1. V 6 Don't stress, just take it to God. He's got it all under control.
    2. V 8 Your actions are a result of your thinking. So because of this,think on things that our true, honest, pure lovely and of a good report.
    3. V 13 Nothing is impossible with Christ. God isnt calling us to difficult things all on our own, he will be our strength, despite how impossible it may seem.

  3. V5: Let your gentleness by known to all men. I'm not particularly gentle, and I want to work on this.

    V11: Paul was content. Even to die for Christ. How is it that I struggle to be content, seeing that my life is nearly perfect compared to his? Being thankful to God and stopping to thank Him for everything helps me to be more content.

    V13: I think most Christians have at one point or another held tight to this promise. I have truly witnessed Christ strengthen me and I am thankful!
